 I’m Kara—a Registered Nurse and Functional Health Coach, but more importantly, someone who understands what it feels like to no longer recognize your own body.

I’ve experienced my own share of health challenges, from hormonal imbalances and cystic acne to more complex, systemic issues that were not always clearly explained or understood. I navigated chronic infections, recurring pneumonia, tonsillitis, and endometriosis that at times left me on the floor in severe pain. My skin broke out in cystic acne to the point where I avoided leaving the house, constantly aware of how I looked and felt.

I understand what it’s like to feel inflamed, exhausted, and searching for answers—only to be told everything appears “normal.” To feel dismissed, unheard, and questioned to the point where you begin to doubt your own experience.

That chapter of my life is what led me to create Solstella.

I set out to become the guide I once needed—someone who could connect the dots, bring clarity to what felt confusing, and approach the body through a more thoughtful, root-cause lens.

Through both my clinical background as a nurse and continued education in functional health, I now support others in stepping out of that “unrecognizable illness” state—where you feel disconnected, overlooked, or uncertain—and into a place of clarity, understanding, and informed direction.

At the same time, my work isn’t limited to those who feel unwell. I’m equally passionate about helping individuals who simply want to feel more aligned, energized, and confident in their body—so they can show up looking and feeling like their best, most vibrant selves.

My role is not to diagnose or treat, but to guide, educate, and support you in understanding what your body may be communicating—so you can move forward with greater awareness, confidence, and intention.
